Honor

Courage

Courage is the value that gives departmental members the moral and mental strength to do what is right with confidence and resolution, even in the face of temptation or adversity.

We will:

  • Have the courage to meet the demands of our profession and the mission entrusted to departmental members.

  • Make decisions and act in the best interest of the Office of the Sheriff

  • and the citizens of the county, without regard to undue personal consequences.

The day-to-day duty of every man and woman in the Office of the Sheriff is to consistently strive for improvements in the quality of our work, and our members.

Leadership

Leadership is the tool that provides the Office of the Sheriff with the ability to create alliances and partnerships, focus on our citizens, and plan for long-range perspectives.
