SHERIFF - (High Command) - (Maintains department)
CHIEF DEPUTY - (High Command) - (Maintains department)
MAJOR - (High Command) - (Maintains department)
CAPTAIN - (High Command) - (Support/Patrol Operations)
LIEUTENANT - (Commanding Officer) - (Support/Patrol Operations)
SERGEANT - (Shift Supervisor) - (Patrol Operations)
CORPORAL - (Leading Officers) - (Patrol Operations)
SENIOR DEPUTY - (Experienced Officers) - (Eligible for Divisions)
DEPUTY - (Sworn Officers)
CADET - (Early Trainees) & (Experienced Trainees) - Rookies
The Chain of Command begins at the rank of Sergeant, up to chief.
The Chain of Command is a system of individuals and small groups of individuals within the department to help you with any problems and answer your questions.
(Failure to comply with the Chain of Command may result in disciplinary action).
